Mark for 2010

We've finished the book of Acts for now and are moving to the book of Mark to start 2010.  This will be a great study on the life and ministry of Jesus of Nazareth.  We will teach and study through each chapter in Mark.  The message on Sunday will introduce the chapter, while the Home Group discussion will take us deeper into the text.  I look forward to seeing you Sunday at 9:00 am for our celebration service.

I am your cousin in Gallipolis OH, and I was very proud to read your blog and to see a little bit about the work you're doing in New Orleans. I visited the city before Katrina and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and the music. It broke our hearts, though, when we walked through the streets in the morning and saw the condition of some of the people who had partied too much the night before. God bless you for you work there and the compassion I'm sure you have for helping the people. You'll be pleased to know that the Lord is working in Gallipolis as well. Our church is growing to the point that we need to move into a much larger facility. We have purchased the old First Baptist Church in town and will be moving from our country location to the larger city church in March. We are seeing people saved and baptized nearly every week.
