Everybody needs a community to belong to, to feel connected, to be encouraged, to be challenged, and to be loved. At Hope504 we long to be that place for the teenagers and students (middle school and high school aged) in our community.
We are all on common ground here. It’s kinda cool…no matter where you come from, who you hang out with, what you like to do, we can all find common ground in the fact that when we least deserved it Christ died for us.
Because of His sacrifice, as a group we try to live like him. That means hanging out with friends, sharing snacks and food together, playing video games, having bible studies, movie nights, helping each other through struggles, pretty much anything you can think of.
What and Where?
We meet every Sunday night from 6-7:30 for what we call Kinetic504. It's a time to hang out, eat some food, and dig into God's word.
Where in the world did we come up with Kinetic504? Kinesis (where we get kinetic energy from) is the movement of a person or object caused by a stimulus. We want to be a group of students that moves and causes change in our city. Our stimulus is the life of Christ.
We also are super pumped about our High School & College Age Life Group that meets Wednesday nights from 7:00-8:30.
We also get together early each month for what we call Encounter504. It's a chance for friends to encounter each other and God. We will play games, maybe go play laser tag, go out for ice cream, kickball or have movie nights. Come check it out!! (Times and Dates will be announced every month so be on the lookout!)
